At O'Brien Hardwoods, your countertops are crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The top surface and all four visible sides are perfectly sanded and maintained. Our standard process may leave the bottom surface and potentially have rough spots, as it won't be visible once installed, allowing us to maintain cost efficiency. However, you can choose a Finish Grade Bottom option to ensure the underside is finished to the exact same high standard as the top surface and sides.
As a natural material, every piece of lumber has its own unique character; therefore, grain and color will naturally vary from sample images. Our countertops are constructed without any butt joints or finger joints, offering a seamless and superior appearance, and are made with the board face turned up (flat grain). These durable, custom wide plank wood products also function perfectly as premium wood desktops and wood table tops.
